Problem:

Showtime wanted to drive revenue and increase their subscriber base by capitalizing on Dexter’s wildly popular season finale.

However, Showtime had a limited window into what would resonate most with fans, making it difficult to drive revenue during the show’s critical off-season.

Solution:

I conducted market research while analyzing consumer demand across all social channels to identify:

  • A target audience

  • A unique trend

  • A potential partner

  • A growth strategy

Results:

Showtime created an entirely new revenue stream while bringing in new audiences during Dexter’s off-season. Fan reaction was so strong, the brand created multiple product lines based on my concept (even giving a nod to this work by highlighting the reimagined Dexter title sequence featured above).
